Local folder links
Overview
Users often want to open a folder locally on their computer, however this is usually impossible when clicking on a link provided by a web application due to modern web browser security restrictions.
To get around this, and offer secure access to local folders, the Job Manager Web application provides a local folder link feature. The feature requires several components:
- A registered protocol handler on the user's computer for urls starting with
jmfile://
